The map illustrates the planned layout of a proposed new town, including how its land will be used and how its roads will be organised.
Overall, the town will be built around a central commercial area, with housing occupying most of the land. Recreation areas will be spread throughout the town, while industry will be limited to two zones on the outskirts.
At the heart of the town, there will be a square-shaped town centre containing shops, three car parks in its north-eastern, south-western and south-eastern corners and two bus stations on its western and eastern sides. Five main roads, coming from the north, north-east, east, south-west and west, will converge on this centre, dividing the surrounding land into several residential blocks, and a number of recreation areas will be placed beside these roads close to the centre. This inner zone will be encircled by a ring road.
Beyond the ring road, the outskirts will be predominantly reserved for housing, except for the north-western and south-eastern edges, where two industrial zones will be developed, the latter being noticeably larger. The northern outskirts will be dedicated mainly to recreation, whereas only one recreation area will be located in the south. All of these outer areas will be linked to the ring road by the main roads, making them easily accessible from the town centre.
