Phân tích đề
- Dạng bài: Task 1 – Hai biểu đồ tròn TĨNH (một năm 2010), so sánh hai đối tượng (Japan và Malaysia) trên 5 hạng mục chi tiêu.
- Thì: quá khứ đơn (2010 đã qua). Biểu đồ tĩnh nên KHÔNG dùng increase / decrease.
- Số liệu là tỉ trọng trong tổng chi tiêu → dùng được "accounted for", "made up", "the share of".
- Chênh lệch giữa hai tỉ lệ phần trăm → dùng "percentage points", không dùng "percent".
- Từ khoá:
- show → compare / illustrate
- the average household expenditures → how the average household budget was divided / the proportion of household spending
- in the year 2010 → in 2010
- other goods and services → giữ nguyên (không tự đoán đó là gì)
Dàn ý
Mở bài

- Housing: 34% so với 21% (chênh 13 điểm %) → nhấn mạnh mức chênh lệch: "A was X, … percentage points higher than that of B."
- Food: 27% so với 24% → đặt hai số liệu cạnh nhau: "A stood at X, compared with Y in B."
Thân bài 2 – Ba hạng mục Japan cao hơn
- Transport: 20% so với 10% → so sánh gấp lần: "twice as high as".
- Other goods and services: 29% so với 26% → hạng mục lớn nhất của Japan.
- Health care: 6% so với 3% → khẳng định đối tượng cao hơn: "A exceeded B, with respective figures of X and Y", kèm ý nhỏ nhất ở cả hai nước.
Mẹo: chia đoạn theo chiều so sánh (nước nào cao hơn) thay vì kể lần lượt từng hạng mục; mỗi hạng mục dùng một mẫu câu khác nhau.
