Phân tích đề & dàn ý
Phân tích đề
- Dạng bài: Task 2 – Agree or Disagree (To what extent do you agree or disagree?).
- Tách ý chính của đề: Extreme sports (skydiving, skiing) → are very dangerous → so → should be banned.
- Chú ý phạm vi và mức độ:
- "Should be banned" là cấm hoàn toàn, mạnh hơn nhiều so với "hạn chế" hay "quản lý".
- "Such as sky diving and skiing" chỉ là ví dụ cho nhóm thể thao mạo hiểm.
- Đề có hai phần: lý do (nguy hiểm) và đề xuất (cấm). Câu paraphrase ở mở bài phải giữ đủ cả hai.
- Từ khoá:
- extreme sports → high-risk sports / adventure sports
- very dangerous → carry a high level of risk / extremely risky
- should be banned → ought to be prohibited / outlawed
- Câu 1: paraphrase đề, giữ đủ lý do (nguy hiểm) + đề xuất (cấm).
- Câu 2: nêu quan điểm không đồng ý + tóm tắt 2 lý do.
Nếu muốn nhắc đến phía bên kia, hãy dùng "Although some people believe that…"

Some people argue that, because extreme sports such as skydiving and skiing carry a high level of risk, they ought to be prohibited. I completely disagree with this view because the dangers of these sports can be greatly reduced, and banning them would take away important benefits from participants.
I disagree that extreme sports should be banned because their risks can be controlled through proper training and safety equipment. Since many serious accidents are caused by inexperience or faulty gear rather than by the sports themselves, strict safety rules can significantly reduce the number of injuries. For example, a beginner who must complete a training course and jump with a qualified instructor is far less likely to be hurt during a first skydive. By contrast, a complete ban may push enthusiasts towards unofficial clubs where no safety checks are carried out. In short, regulation is a more effective way to protect participants than prohibition.
Furthermore, extreme sports can enhance people's physical and mental well-being. This is because these activities require a high level of fitness and teach participants to stay calm under pressure, which can help them deal with stress in daily life. For instance, a skier who regularly tackles difficult slopes may develop both stronger muscles and greater self-confidence. Whereas many other forms of exercise can become repetitive, the challenge of extreme sports may encourage people to stay active for longer. Such benefits would therefore be lost if these sports were banned.
In conclusion, I strongly disagree that extreme sports should be prohibited. My reason is that their risks can be managed through regulation, and they offer participants valuable physical and mental benefits.

It is indisputable that the impacts of extreme sports have garnered widespread attention in recent years Some people argue that extreme sports such as skydiving and skiing are so dangerous that they should be banned. Despite some arguments against these sports in favour of a ban, I strongly believe that people should be free to engage in these risky activities.
A compelling argument can be made that adventure sports should be forbidden because they are inherently dangerous. For example, frequent engagement in sky diving or skiing skydiving or skiing can cause hazardous serious injuries and irreversible outcomes such as fatality even death. Therefore For this reason, some people believe that the government should enforce severe restrictions on ban these extreme physical activities. Nonetheless, this line of reasoning is flawed because the root cause of such a negative influence most accidents lies not in adrenaline the sports themselves, but in a lack of necessary training and proper equipment while participating. Therefore, these physical risks can be effectively largely minimised by well-prepared survival skills and protective tools through proper training and protective gear.
In spite of some manageable drawbacks, I firmly contend that people should have the autonomy freedom to join in take part in action sports for myriad key two main reasons. Firstly, banning thrill extreme sports can cause a sense of dissatisfaction among practitioners would be unfair. This is because physical consequences exist in any sport every sport carries some physical risk, and there are many high-profile cases of death in other "safer" sports, namely football serious injuries also occur in popular sports such as football or cycling, which nobody suggests banning. Therefore, the prohibition of extreme sports only is seemingly unfair singling out extreme sports seems inconsistent. More importantly, these sports also offer several benefits. Not only can high-risk sports allow athletes to improve their endurance, but they also build up mental resilience. For example, a skier who regularly tackles difficult slopes learns to stay calm under pressure, a skill that can also help in daily life.
In conclusion, while dangerous sports should be forbidden due to safety concerns some people believe that dangerous sports should be forbidden for safety reasons, I fervently believe that people should have the freedom to take part in these pursuits because their risks can be managed and they offer valuable physical and mental benefits.
Nhận xét của thầy
- Điểm mạnh: quan điểm rõ ở mở bài và thân bài; có nhượng bộ – phản biện tốt ở thân bài 1 (chỉ ra nguyên nhân thật của tai nạn là thiếu huấn luyện và thiết bị); có cấu trúc đảo ngữ "Not only can… but they also…"; vốn từ đa dạng (inherently, root cause, mental resilience).
- Kết bài mâu thuẫn quan điểm (lỗi nặng nhất): "while dangerous sports should be forbidden due to safety concerns" đọc như chính người viết đồng ý nên cấm. Khi nhắc lại phía bên kia ở kết bài phải viết rõ là ý kiến của người khác ("while some people believe that…").
"the impacts of extreme sports have garnered widespread attention" không nói gì về hai ý này. "arguments against these sports" cũng nên là "arguments in favour of a ban" cho rõ nghĩa.
"many high-profile cases of death in football" là nói quá, không chính xác. Lý do 2 chỉ nêu lợi ích mà không giải thích hay đưa ví dụ.
- Collocation: "hazardous injuries" → "serious injuries" (hazardous dùng cho chất, môi trường, công việc); "irreversible outcomes such as fatality" gượng → "even death"; "well-prepared survival skills" → "proper training".
- Dùng từ: "namely" dùng khi liệt kê CHÍNH XÁC những gì vừa nhắc, ở đây chỉ đưa ví dụ nên dùng "such as"; "the prohibition of extreme sports only" sai trật tự từ.
- "myriad key reasons" nhưng chỉ có 2 lý do → "two main reasons".
