IIt is widely acknowledged that in some countries, fewer people now rely on bicycles as their main form of transport, despite the physical and environmental benefits of cycling. There are a number of reasons behind this trend, and several measures should be taken to encourage more people to cycle.

A range of factors are responsible for the decline in cycling. One major reason is that private vehicles have become more affordable. This is because rising incomes allow many families to buy a car or motorbike, which offers greater comfort and speed than a bicycle. As a result, people who once cycled to work may now prefer to drive, especially in hot or rainy weather. Another factor that contributes to this situation is the lack of safe cycling infrastructure. Since many cities have few cycle lanes, cyclists often have to share busy roads with cars and lorries. Such conditions can make cycling feel dangerous, whereas travelling by car seems much safer.

To tackle this problem, both governments and employers should take immediate action. The first way is to improve cycling infrastructure. This can be achieved by building separate cycle lanes and secure bicycle parking in city centres. This can help cyclists to travel more safely, thereby encouraging more people to leave their cars at home. Secondly, cycling can be made more convenient and attractive. Governments can introduce public bike-sharing schemes, while employers can offer changing rooms and small allowances to staff who cycle to work. Compared with awareness campaigns alone, such practical incentives are more likely to change people's daily habits.

In conclusion, there are various reasons why fewer people cycle, including the growing affordability of cars and unsafe roads. By improving cycling infrastructure and offering practical incentives, governments and employers can encourage more people to choose bicycles.

It is indisputable that the number of cyclists has declined in recent years, even though cycling benefits both health and the environment. There is are a wide range of causes for this phenomenon, and this essay will suggest some plausible approaches to improving the situation.

A decreasing number of bicyclists cyclists can be attributed to several factors. Chief among these is poor cycling infrastructure. With an inadequate number of cycling paths e lanes, bikers cyclists have to share traffic space the road with other vehicles such as high-speed cars fast-moving cars, which can discourage them from using this eco-friendly means of transport. Added to this is the fact that many communities lack awareness about the fundamental merits of cycling. As bicycles are just perceived as very simple vehicles that allow them to commute on a daily basis without understanding any physical and environmental gains, they lack both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to ride a bike rising incomes have made cars and motorbikes more affordable. Since these vehicles are faster and more comfortable, especially in bad weather, many people who once cycled now prefer to drive.

Nonetheless, there are myriad several feasible solutions that can be undertaken to address the aforementioned issue this problem. An effective strategy might be that the government should Firstly, governments should allocate more financial resources funding to cycling infrastructure. It They can build more dedicated cycle lanes that are reserved for cyclists. Therefore, In this way, not only can this solution facilitate a faster flow of traffic for cyclists make cycling faster, but it can also ensures improve safety by reducing the likelihood of traffic accidents with other means of transport vehicles. Another viable method is launching campaigns that raise the public's awareness about the positive impacts of cycling to make cycling more convenient, for example by introducing public bike-sharing schemes and offering allowances to employees who cycle to work. By doing this, travelers commuters may switch from fuel-burning cars to bikes, which will could cut greenhouse gas emissions and enhance bikers' their physical well-being.

In conclusion, while there are a multitude of several reasons why fewer commuters choose bikes as their primary modes main mode of transport daily, a combination of improving cycling systems infrastructure and educating commuters about the benefits of bicycles offering practical incentives can deal with the problem mentioned above encourage more people to cycle.

Nhận xét của thầy

  • Điểm mạnh: trả lời đủ cả hai câu hỏi; giải pháp khớp với nguyên nhân (hạ tầng kém → xây làn xe đạp; thiếu nhận thức → chiến dịch tuyên truyền); nguyên nhân 1 về hạ tầng được phát triển rõ ràng; có cấu trúc đảo ngữ "not only can… but it also…".
  • Từ nối: "Therefore, not only can…" sai logic vì câu này không phải kết quả của câu trước.
  • Diễn đạt: "An effective strategy might be that the government should" gượng → "Firstly, governments should"; "It can build" (it không rõ chỉ cái gì); "There is a wide range of causes" → "There are…"; "bicyclists / bikers" nên thống nhất là "cyclists".
  • Mức độ khẳng định: "which will cut greenhouse gas emissions" nên dùng "could"; "ensures safety" quá tuyệt đối.
  • Kết bài: "deal with the problem mentioned above" mơ hồ; nên nói rõ kết quả mong muốn (khuyến khích nhiều người đạp xe hơn). "myriad", "a multitude of" lặp lại nhiều bài, nên dùng "several".
